This stunning photo of the mosaic floor panels in the Rhizotron at Kew Gardens has been uploaded onto Flickr by Sebastian Crump (aka ramson).

The mosaics, which are underlit with undulating LED lighting, were designed by Tracy Rasburn. The translucent glass was cut into 22,000 pieces and took 3 artisans over four months to apply.
